what id the best EVERYTHING wheel

I lovvve my live retro freerides. I can hold lines at decent speeds, drift smooth and controlled and do stand ups. I don't see or hear about too many people rolling these but I can't get enough of mine

I'm trying to decide between Purple and Yellow Durians for a BC Eel Setup. I'm on the intermediate level of riding and want to have a board and wheels so I can learn how to slide as a meaning of stopping. I will free ride on the board too, but mainly will be my way to class everyday. Will the yellows be too slick for what I'm looking for? If they ride somewhat soft (from what I've read so far they seem to), I'm going to jump on-board and buy this setup!

84-88a no skoolz, prolly 65mm.

hell most shortboarders get gnarly on street wheels, bomb bigger hills than i see most people do, and still hit parks, street, and slide a bit.

i always just think of "what wheel would be king supreme in the 80s fer the average ripper"

Both wheels are going to slide great, but the yellows will lose less speed with sliding. So if you're sliding for stopping, maybe the purps will do you better. it's a toss up. Personally i'd take the purps.

if u want more slide then crave get the 86a otangs.. best choice. they are really grippe trust me. i been riding them all day to day.. I took them just up to 35 mph to day. 1st day with them.

I wouldn't describe them as grippy. They have grip, but waaaaay less than most other wheels of it's style.

Still super badass wheels, though.
