I`am getting an evo with big zigs. but i want another wheel. 2 wheels i`am looking at are the otang in heats purple or Flywheels any size. what wheel do u think will get me down the hill faster. Iam 5" 7' and 120 pounds. name any other wheels u guys think are great for dh.

im 130 and 5'9 and i like the bigzigs but if your looking for something faster i like the 83mm flywheels

but seriously, on the top of your menu for this website you're going to see several items like 'front page' and 'forums'

under forums, select 'search forum'

and your wheel choice is going to have no effect on your speed unless you've already mastered tucking, pushing, cornering and the stamina required to do all three.

try a lot of stuff out, most wheel choice is personal preference anyways.

a good tuck beats a "fast" wheel any day. the wheels you listed are all pretty comparable. im assuming you are doing some local runs that top out at like 35-40mph? so anything over 75mm in my opinion is overkill. you just wont top out the speed of a wheel over 75mm. stick with the zigs. if you decide to get another set of wheels, i suggest getting a different shape than the zigs, just to try different flavors.

ive been looking for one, daddies used to have them for cheap but they sold out a few years back, something about labor laws or slavery? i dunno...
