because I just got some and tha was shaking by seeing this..

if you just got them new, don't worry about it, the recall was a while ago

Old news. Very little chance of it actually happening in fact i shred a set of the recalled oranges daily and nothing bad has happened.

If anyone still has an old set... they obviously don't shred enough to worry about it...

Otangs are one of the best products out there... trust them8)

It just happened to me... but I got my wheels in May, a month after the Orange In Heat recall. Do you think they'll replace my wheels if I never abuse my board (beyond normal abuse)? I mean, bearing seats don't normally shear, plus it's still been under a year so it fits the warranty... One can pray because I don't want to go through the whole break without wheels for my derv

You probably got a defective set. Send them and email, I'm pretty sure they'll hook you up with a new set.

pics are worth a 1000 words. send some pics. if they don't send wheels after seeing the pics send them 1000 words

Just cause they put out the most money and sponsor more big name players doesnt make them the best. Means they are doing their job.

Should i check my local mall/surf shop/skate shop and see what boards I find? They are the most accessable so they must be the best right?

I agree they make a great wheel but in my opinion not the best. They all cost just below or above 50 bucks and they wear super quick. There are just as good if not better race wheels that are cheaper and will last longer on the market. they dont make a hard slide wheel so their line-up isnt complete and wheels for feeride burn out and flat spot in a few sessions.. like the yellow durians... that cost $54

And I'm not loaded bashing. I'm not bashing the wheels. I said they were good. just not as good as the hype. If people choose to feed into what the media tells them too, I got nothing against that.. EVERYONE does at some point. I try not to eat it up myself, and learn from experience

I sent the wheels out today and they said if they were defected they would replace them with any Orangatang wheel of my choice. DURIANS!
