Default Anyone have any experience with Destructo Sendai bearings?

As the title says, can anyone offer an opinion on how these stack up? I'm considering buying some because they are slightly cheaper than Bones reds and come with spacers (why bones stopped including them is beyond me). Apparently they have two shields as well, though I haven't seen them myself. Do they have nylon or steel cages?

Anyway, any insight would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

They have the rubber seal on them so that's good. I say go for them if you want, but if I were you I'd shoot myself over to Mile High Skates and get some of his bearings because they are probably cheaper and just as good if not better.

they are actually much better. i used to have sendai's on my skateboard and took em off after abotu a month...they got incredibley slow and i didn't enjoy them. replaced them with reds and then indy bearings.

the bad thing about them is that every pair ive opened(i work at a small skate shop ) have had rusty, unpolished spacers. so yeah. but the bearings themselves are great. but yeah, the spacers suck. maybe its just the humidity down here in texas. (the casing for the sedeni's arnt that great either. but thats not a big deal)

thats just my experience with them
I really want a sheep. really badly.

Mile High Skate for sure, fantastic bearings. I see no point in paying more for any other bearings as long as Mark is alive and selling his MHS bearings

Thanks for the input guys. The problem is that down under in NZ the avaiable parts are limited. MHS doesn't ship to NZ :'(. My local skate store doesn't stock spacers because all the shortboarders don't used them. Ah well, I'll give them a go. Thanks all.
