80a or 83a?

I'm trying to decide bewteen 80a and 83a 4prez. But I would just like to make sure that i am making the right decision. I weigh 125lbs. I am looking to be able to throw down some colemans to slow down, but be able to take a turn when I do not put a and down and keep my weight centered over the board.

I am buying them used, so the outer 'grippy' layer will most likely be worn off.

for real dude? so many posts on different equipment...

the answer is this, trucks are trucks and will perform as such. wheels are wheels and will perform as such. any gear that you narrow down to just differences in duro will perform almost exactly the same!

so many of your posts have ended the same way, its all preference. buy one or the other and be happy with it. a few weeks ago you couldnt slide, and im assuming not much has changed. so will a 3a difference in duro make a difference? NOPE.

and im sure you didnt search that hard, because there have been enough posts about otangs and duro to cover your questions.

sorry if this sounded harsh but it has to be said.

Sorry. I know I post too much. It's just that i'm thirteen and I have to pay for all my own equipment. So I can't really get myself a job. The only way I ever got money was working on one of my grandpa's old houses. And residents just moved in so they do all the work now. And if I simply ask my dad for money, chances are I'll get a no because I didn't do anything to deserve it.

So I'm sorry if I post too much, like I just said, not much funds, so I want to try to make sure that i'm getting the equipment I'll be most happy with. I'll try to cut down on the posting.

just put a second thought to the questions you have before posting. most of the time you can answer your own questions.

and just remember, the rider makes the equipment good, not the other way around.

I'll go with the 83a. It's used so if I don't like it much, it's noly $30. Not as much of a loss.

Ouch, some bad info in this thread.

Its my experience that sliding the 80a wwheels slows me down a lot more when slid(resulting in sometimes not being as fun), and grips a lot more in hard turns than 83's.Im 135. I dont know anything about chunking on Orangatangs...

If you really need grip, get orange. Otherwise get purple, grip+slide.

I own Otang thane in Orange, Purple, and Yellow. If I had to choose only one Otang duro, it'd be Orange. I can't WAIT till the freeride shapes come in orange.
