Skookum Bearing Maintenance.

I'm riding on 10mm skookum bearings, and I was wondering if anyone affiliated with the company is on sf, and might tell me about the best way to clean/maintain them.

Can I take out the shield? What's the recommended cleaning solution? Can the race be popped out?

note to 20 year old mods:
I'm asking about skookum bearings specifically, not a general bearings question. Please mod responsibly.
