Thumbs up Retro Zigzags 83a vs Orangatang Durians

    G'day Fellas,

I'm looking at which wheels would be most appropriate for my dervish..

I have searched the forum and haven't yet come across a durians vs zigzags..

I want them to start getting into sliding with yet I want them to last a long time..

So I want to slide with them but with grip as well for when I want to carve..

    Cheers for any input
    adelaide rider

    peace and love

my lemon bigzigs are good for those things you said. i would probably advise you to go with the durians though. my friend has them and they are really great.

Zigzags are square lipped so they will grip more then then the durians in the same duro. Get some mangotangs (86a). They should last a fair while to.

unfortunately while the yellow tangs may sound great on paper, they just are really expensive, and wear down just as fast as the other otang wheels

op go with some 81a flashies, perfect for what you need, and at a reasonable price

Heard nothing but good things about 81a Flashbacks... If you want a wheel that lasts a while (read: forever), look at 80a or 83a retro freerides, too.

Wow man you caught me on an interesting day . I LOVE my 86a otangs... or LOVED......
I had them for about 6 weeks and they have worn rediculously. I think close to 8mm. They have also flatspotted. Although this is my speed sliding wheel it has still be quite a dissapointment.

    Get both?

Print out 2 pictures and put them up against something worthless and through a dart at one.

Try using the search function. I can't count the number of times people have made this thread with basically these same requirements for a wheel.

Zigzags will last much longer than Orangatangs, because they are highly durable. Don't get me wrong, Orangatangs are amazing, especially Durians. They just don't last that long.

haha I have searched but my interests are just these two wheels..

I like the sound of the lemon bigzigs as they seem to be in between durians and zigzags..

I was mangotang 86a but from the advice you guys are giving me they wear out a lot..

I'm also not concerned about price cos they are all expensive and the same price in Australia..

So i'm kinda leaning to the bigzigs..

I'll reiterate that 81 flashies fit the bill for what you described that you want to do with them
they also are a economical choice
