Based on the hype it sounds like if i start a carve at 10mph they will just throw out. I still want to carve somewhat hard but throw out slides here and there. How well can people carve on them? Thanks guys..

Because I have never seen a man can stand slide smoothly in slowly speed without Orangatang.

I can almost guarantee that you will not slide by accident, even with these wheels. I ride yellow durians on my dropthrough carver - it grips. It slides when I want to.

I still can't slide switch, as hard as I try.

    Answer your question?

I have both yellow and purple in 70mm. Both yellow and purple ride well on rough surfaces, due to their wide contact patches.

There's no reason to avoid the yellow 86a wheels, they grip just fine.

Thanks for the personal experiences haha, those are always good. Any major difference between the purps and yellows? Besides obvious ones of course

They ride pretty much the same, but the 86a's have a more icy slide, great wheels.

I found the yellows to break free when I didn't want them to... but when you want to slide they're pretty nuts
I have a bunch of skateboards

Isn't this what you're supposed to put in a signature?

What i do is if I am carving and i start to feel them wanting to break out, i'll just throw a little check slide, so i'm ready for it.

I have purples and when I turn I feel them begging for me to get my weight off my back foot so they can slide out. If you want to go fast and then start carving, don't buy them, don't even buy the purps. If you want to carve and slide get something that can do both (4 presidents for example, even flywheels).

My purple ones wore out too quick, but other than that were awesome. I replaced them with yellow and they are wearing much slower. They grip better than I expected, not much less than the purple, and they slide smoother.

I will probably replace this set with yellow again when they wear out

depends on the surface of your roads.

    smooth: no
    rough: maybe

i find these dont slide out unpredictably. my worn 78a gumballs...THOSE slid all over the place when i didnt want to slide. pumping was impossible.

I actually was messing around on my buddys flex 4 vanny (terrible deck for sliding) with the yellow durians on it and I found them extremely predictable and controllable. at 20-25 ish i was doing standys where I would've scrubbed off almost all of my speed before I even realized they had broken traction-so smooth, I'd recomend them over the 83s as they hardly grip any less and slide much more smoothly IMO

i have put my 86a stimulus wheels on everything from a shlongboard to my friends Evo...

    you won't die
they aren't like riding on ice
they dont just randomly kick out

they slide like butter whenever YOU want them to, that's for sure

this is coming from a 280ish pound, 6'1" tall rider...

    qft

I can slide/carve at speed comfortably with both. If you don't carve sharp you will be fine. You can carve rather hard if its not sharp or sudden.
