    Default 3dm Avilas

I want to buy a set of avilas and i was wondering if i should get the 77a black ops or the 75a clear wheels. I want wheels that are very smooth on all roads but the are fast enough for cruising on the flats. Which do you think would be better?

I know this doesnt belong in the wheels forum, but i have 78a bushings (venom standards) in my front truck and 81a in the back on paris 180s and i was getting lots of speed wobbles on a fairly small hill that i was bombing. would 90a barrels boardside and 85a barrels roadside be good for carving but stable enough for mild dh?
have 2 sets and one set on the way. personal favorite is the grapey apes. smooth and fast. using them on a KS Scimitar and can't beat the ride. imho

i ride 78a flashbacks now so would the 75a avilas be noticeably slower? Comparing avilas to flashbacks, the avilas are a lot smoother, right?

Avilas on my s9 are very fast but accelarate extreemly slowly bot once they go theyre gone due to its weight and width, so smooth
    Lifes rough, deal with it.

I got the blue 81a on wednesday for pumping on my subsonic pulse and they are amasing wheels. Grip like a bitch and hold speed so well. Not as hard to get up to speed as I thought they would be and really plush over rougher surfaces.

man I don't like anything under 80a. Mainly due to durability though, not ride.

You aint gona be sliding on avilas and from what I'v heard from Pavedwave the 77a avilas last forever. He says he has been pumping on one set for years and they are still pretty much the same size.

I have a set of Avilas and they're really not that hard to slide. I can do standup checks on mine, but I'd be worried about trashing the lips with any hands down sliding.

You are not the light of my life.

    But you're strange and fascinating
and I've never met anyone like you.
I want to give you everything.

Just to see what you would do with it.

The Avilas break in super nicely if you slide evenly with them... I've got zero chunking in both sets that I own after several months of hard sliding.
