Daddies sent me Stimulus instead of Durians...worth sending back?

I ride a landyachtz dually with randal 180s. Im learning how to slide.

I ordered some durians and they sent me stimulus'. Is there a difference thats worth noting? (obviously i just mean the 5mm). Please and thank you!

Between the wheels, not a lot of different. The stims will accelerate faster, but the durians will hold speed more because of their size, but you should hold them accountable for their screw-up and get what you ordered.

just use the stimulus wheels and ask daddies to refund the difference. that's what i did when they forgot to ship the extra bushings i ordered with my stuff.

i know its not a lot, but its YOUR money.

and i dont blame daddies. my friend got zigs on his board, and got 2 zigs and 2 bigzigs.... but realize that they send out TONS of completes and this happens once in a blue moon. its really busy there, and crap happens.
They're tight about it though.

I too prefer stimulus, but don't you think that's a pretty intense exaggeration on both sides.

Both slide and ride fine. Get the Durians if you have the energy in your body to care, if not you'll love the Stims too.

get your 3 bucks back. the stims will slide better/easier because they have a smaller contact patch. just tell them they messed up your oreder in an email. also id recomend a different site for ordering off of. sundaeskates, is the cheapest for gettting completes. longboardskater has free shipping no matter what. sundae is in saltlake and longboardskater is in south carolina if it makes a difference.

I don't own one so I'm not 100%...but from reading stuff about the switch (not dually) at least its seems a lot of people end up adding risers cause or railbite or smth.

Cause of that I'd say get your durians and make them cover it all. You'll have to wait a bit so if thats a big deal just skip it.

My only thinking though is that you MIGHT have to get risers if you keep the stimuli cause of the height difference. But heck maybe you already you have some cause maybe you'd need em with the durians too...again my research hasn't been super extensive. If not, perhaps you could get them to send you those instead of $3...but again still a wait (albeit less of one).

Keep in mind this is all just speculation on my part but might be worth looking into/thinking about. There is a whole thread of switch setups. I bet those folks would have smth helpful to say.

I have ridden both wheels quite a bit, and there is a pretty major difference between the two.

Durians are fast as balls, though.

yep. my yellow durians were not that fun until they got down to 69mm w/ a nice cone.

stims>durians in my experience. the stims have a slightly smaller contact patch which i think makes the difference.

The real difference from the Durian to the Stimulus is the tightness of the lips. I have only used Durians a few times and always find myself reverting to the Stims. Better slides, better wear (less cone) and generally a better wheel. If I were you, I'd get that 3 dorrar back and ride 'em till they die. You won't regret it.
