I've heard that the higher duros of Abec 11 'thane are pretty bad. I'd go Durians.

I like my 88's for quick little standups, when I go for big ones, they stick up like hell. Overall, I just slapped them on my mini. I'd say durians

after riding 77mm 88a strikers and hating them i was given some 86a reflex freerides....which i liked but wasn't convinced by...

so i bought 83a durians and loved them...they are drifty, then wear grippier...then drifty again...nice.

someone did me a good deal on 86a durians and didn't like them as much....the thane just didn't seem as good....

i went back and ABUSED ( read, was not nice in any way.) to the freerides, gave them to friends that weigh 100kg+ to abuse....and now i love the feel. though on bad surface they are skittish...

then i went back and ABUSED ( read, was not nice in any way.) to the strikers, gave them to friends that weigh 100kg+ to abuse...and now i love them...though i will admit they ice up quick and feel slow at pushing speeds.

moral of the story....buy a collection of wheels and decide for yourself...but remember- sometimes abuse is good for a wheel.

I have 77mm88a strikers, I like them for hands down sliding on my drop-thru. But, for some reason I am afraid to carve hard on them at high speeds, it's like my brain knows that radiused edge could let go. I been pushin my 86 stims, I feel more confident on those - but, like the other poster said, just get a handfull of different kinds of wheels and run em down, I plan to go back to the strikers later, they do have potential.
