    Default Will I get Wheelbite with this setup?

    So my next board i'm looking at a Comet Doll with 180mm Randals / Otang Stimulus 86A 75mm wheels. Ive been told that on a topmount board, you can get wheelbite easily if the wheels are too big. Are the 75mm Stimulus' too big? Should I buy some risers?

    Hello

    On a topmount it is often recommended not to use bigger than 70mm, (depending on how big your wheel wells are I guess). Even with 70mm it is possible to get whhel bite. I fixed wheel bite on my board with one duro harder bushing board side and a cup-washer. Now I only use thin shock-pads. So, if you need risers or not may be depending on your bushings and weight. I would have gone for 70mm.

    Hope you figure it out.

    Edit: now I can use 72mm without bite.

    Thanks! Yeah, I might get some 70mm wheels. Is there any good freeride wheels that are less then that?
    Kyle Chin uses the exact setup that I plan on getting, and it doesn't seem like he gets any wheelbite though...

    Hello=)

    I dont know how functional the wheel wells on that board is, but if they are good you can use 75mm(maybe have to use a riser if you run loose trucks or have soft bushings). The board I was talking about dont have wheel wells. You get the same wheels in 70mm also(Stimulus). I`m thinking that you have more tweaking options(flipping, wedging, bushings) if you use a 70mm wheel.

    But, if you know the set-up work for him, it will probably do it for you too.
