75 or 78 . i have 75a and i like them, but they are a bit slow. mabey 78 is better because it would most likely be faster

I like my 75a. Nice wheels. They are pretty fast too.

...I run 75a and they are fine. I also run Ninja abec 7's and they are very fast bearings. The wheel may be considered slow but the bearings keep ya movin'.
I just got me new stash from Mile High Mark, 77mm Strikers 75a duro and put on my Ninja's abec 7's for my longboard. I was passing people on a 3 mile hill bomb.
The softer duro will give you safe control and when you need to put your foot on the gas, get a good bearing set.

I would say 78a, because they will be faster when you are just cruising. If you were doing some hardcore carving I would say 75a so you don't slip out as much. Another reason against the 75a is they can chunk, because they ar so soft.

Try going "mixed durometer" with 78/75 or 81/78, front to rear. That will maximize your speed and grip. It's easy to do this, since Grippins are sold in two-packs...

I love 78a. They slide out a lot at first, but once you wear them in, they just get grippier. 78a will be a bit faster then 75a, and not wear out as fast. When I first got my grippins, they slid out tons. Since the 4th or 5th day of riding them, they have not slid out on me ONCE! I do not know if it is just me, but these things realy grip, and fly.
