flat spots

hey guys
ive been riding my dh race with landy hawgs for about a month now. Ive been sliding a bit and i noticed today on a long bomb that my board was vibrating like crazy. It sounded like a plane taking off when i really got up to speed. I was wondering how i get rid of flat spots? Do they go away after time or do they get worse over time?

my dad has a drill press. Do u think if i rigged somthing up so i could put the wheel on that and then took some sand paper to the wheel would get rid of them?

yes a drill press would work, but be careful of two things

1) go slow so you don't take too much off the wheel. take a bit off and ride it to see if the vibes have calmed down. maybe don't try to do it all the way. just get it down so that you can wear them in the rest of the way by riding/ light sliding.

2) urethane fumes = bad. make sure to wear a proper respirator, not just a dust mask. you don't want to hurt your lungs for something as cheap as a new set of wheles.

that would be beyond fumes, youd be suckin in straight pieces of urethane, even if they are microscopic i cant see that being good for ya
