Do you guys know if it would be ok to use bearings used for machines or other things other than longboarding? They seem to be the same bearings but with no name.

I'm not sure if they would take side loads and impacts as well, but then again, I doubt most skate bearings are designed with that in mind anyway. So I would say go for it if their cheap.

Dude, where do you think skateboard bearing "manufacturers" get thiers? The 608's that Dynaroll sells are excellent, and they carry them in all stainless steel, too. That's a good site, roam around it and you'll find a lot of bearing information in plain English.
