    Default These wheels

I know S9 wheels had a bad rep in the past but who has any kind of useful, real experience, info on these 72mm wheels? Want to use it mostly for garage sessions.

Those are supposed to be better. They get them poured by the same people who do the Abec 11 wheels, so the quality is up there. I have not ridden, but have held them and compared the shape to abecs. They are like a cored gumball, at least that's what I thought.

I have those wheels, they work good, they are a 8mm spacing, (at least mine are...) in my opinion they ride a little rougher than some other wheels their size because of the large core, I have seen some people say that the spokes in the core are a little fragile, never had any firsthand experience with that....
Overall, a good wheel, you can often find them fairly inexpensive so it's woth a try, can never have too many wheels... might want to try the new Sector9 slalom wheels, they are slow, but super grippy and ride smoother than the 72 mm cored wheels, and they are 69mm tall so less wheelbite, 10mm spacing on these.

I don't find them rough at all. Mine are 75a and seem smooth as silk to me. I roll over small rocks and even twigs with no problem.

I think they're really quick. I have a set. They're so light. They really accelerate well and they're 75a, so I guess that means grippy.

I was told by mile high mark that they are poured by the same folks who pour abec 11 and 3dm.

This only applies to the new S9 wheels, not the older ones.

I really like the shape and ride of these and the G.O.S. wheels.

Yeah, i haven't ridden the ones shown here; but I concur completely on the Goddess of Speed wheels... a quality wheel, no doubt about it....
