wheel suggestions
i recently picked up longboarding and LOVE it. iv got a sector nine cosmic two, and once again LOVE it, although the bearings i have kinda suck. im planning on getting some bones super swiss 6 bearings (asking for christmas and such) and i was wondering if you had any suggestions on wheels. i mostly carve, although slide now and then, but im thinking about getting into sliding more.
at the moment i have G2 9" trucks. any suggestions on these? good, not so good, suggest replacing?

Flashbacks from abec 11 are very good and I've also heard great things about Pink Powerballs from Abec 11

With a Cosmic 2 I would stick with 70mm or smaller. Just my opinion.

The questions' a bit open ended, but any number of things. If you read around for a few days you'll get the gist of what people think are good trucks for what. For a Board like that for carving i would think that a pair of randal 150's with maybe soft (75-85a) bushings and wheels is the same A range. You cant really combine the two disciplines though, so wheel-wise for sliding, any fairly hard wheels starting in the 90a range and up.
Again, read around for a while. Look in beginner's forum thing and look at the millions of setup requests there. These questions do get rather redundant.

ill just let you know about that cosmic 2, i have one, with seismics, and 70mm grippins for cruising, but i throw some indy 169s and shortboard wheels on there when i slide. kinda a pain in the ass but it gets the job done, you could easily leave whatever trucks you have on there, and try 2 different types of wheels, thats about the best thing ive found with this board....its somewhat difficult to slide if you are not used to it, its rather narrow, cambered*(this is what really makes it tough), and your feet tend to slide off the front of the board due to the lack of an upturned nose. im not saying that its impossible, i do it all the time, but i have found that a pool board, say something in the 37x 8.5 range is ideal, and a whole hell of a lot easier to control when you slide. as for carving, the grippins work like a dream. i would highly suggest them, or any other wheel close to 70mm, and about an 81 to 84 duro..
just my $.02, but ive experimented, and this is what I have found to work best for me
good luck, and share the stoke
