    Default Gumball duro

I know this sort of question gets asked a lot, but bear with me.

I'm going to be getting a Loaded pintail (I know it's not an ideal deck for sliding, but I think I can still learn) and want gumballs with it. I know I shouldn't be having this much trouble, but I'm not sure on the duro. I really want to learn how to slide, so I'm thinking that 81a will be a good tradeoff between slidiness and grippiness. I'm moving to Chicago next year, though, and plan on riding it there, so I'm not sure if I should just go with 75 or 78 so I don't die after hitting a crack.

Sorry for the annoying question, but I need some guidance.

75 or 78. Get all the benefits of the design!

    I've been running 78front/75rear lately...pretty cool.

Chicago has streets? I thought those were logging trails. Seriously go as soft as you can get. I believe that softer will even be quicker in situations like poor pavement (something you'll have plenty of in Chicago) because they'll have more resilience to roll over the rough spots.

if youre gonna try and run 81 gummies on a loaded vanguard, there isnt gonna be much sliding going on at all, a better bet would be to try out some 88a strikers, they will slide much easier for you. gumballs were designed to grip not slide

75 seems way too soft if you want to slide some.
I have 88a grippins on the front of my slalom board
    and they grip fine.

I would go for 88a or 92a gummies.
