Default 78 or 81a strikers..cant make up my mind

Sorry if this is a question that is constantly asked but i've been searching and still cant make up my mind completely. I wanna put 77mm strikers on my dh but i cant decide between 78a or 81a duros. I'm worried that 81's will be just a tad too slippery (with the dh i've never had problems getting any wheels to break out for slides) but still I'm curious to learn how to start drifting corners well and i think 81a would help me do that and get to the "next level" of my skating. Still, the grip of 78's would be much more of what i was used to w/ my 78a flashbacks and i really liked safety sliding those but they get beat up pretty quickly. hopefully my description isnt too confusing but i'm really trying to make the right decision be4 dropping 50 bucks on some wheels.

The 81s are smoother than you might think, fast and grippy - unless the surface is really bad, no need to go softer.

81s are in no way slippery... trust it and go with 81a. No regrets.

i think this thread needs a poll.
jk. 81a is a great duro if your roads aren't totally messed up like stated above.

I rode 81a for a while, but then switched to Gummies in 81a. Both beautiful wheels.

Really do you think you will be able to tell the difference? Maybe for slalom, just flip a coin.

i got the 81a 77mm strikers on my dh the other day and wowww. grips like crazy for a harder skinnier wheel and real fast. i reccomend them to all who want something different.
