I suggest an 8mm Khiro spacer with a speedring also between the bearings. Lets ya crank down on them without much problem. Anyone machine Biltins to add up to 8mm yet?

What exactly do you mean by that?

Are you saying they wont fit 8mm axles?

    Not any more--they're now 8mm.

Go to a bicycle shop and see if they have any chainring spacers that could be combined to get a 0.300" width.

hardware store. ask for 5/16" inside diameter aluminum/copper/brass tubing.
hacksaw and file down to 5/16" width, its important to make sure they're square[like holi's head]. rinse and repeat.

.300" and 8mm are not accurately interchangeable. Neither are .400" and 10mm. If you're going to make spacers, take the time to ensure you get the right size. An under-sized spacer is just a rattle.

would it be better to use a 10mm in krypto than no spacers at all?

Hey, I know this one!! The 10mm spacer is too big! The bearing on one side will pop out when you turn the board. Not off the wheel but out about 2mm since the old wheels use 8mm like roller skates. After one side pops out the wheel can move around and it wrecks the cores. Cones them all out.
If you can't surf, then skate!

I guess it's easier and maybe better to just get builtin bearings.
