Default bearing spacers

Hey,
I have a constant problem with my flashbacks. The bearins frequently unsug , or move just a hair in the bearing hub, causing the bearing spacers to make a rattleing noise. What can i do about this. I have cleaned them as good as i could. One had urothane on the inside. Could the bearing spacers be bad? I have pleasure tools bearings. abec 7.

Hmm - you might try an extra speed washer inside - so it's between the spacer and bearing(or try one on each side of the spacer).

Alternatively-

I guess there' always the possibility that you've got 8mm spacers when you should have 10mm...

Default snug

With bearing spacers, you should snug up the nut fairly tight (if you don't already have it that way). I wouldn't think the Flashbacks would be too wide inside for the spacer. A lot of guys learn from skateshop guys to leave the nuts a little loose, but with spacers it's not necessary.

Default

Jeff is usually pretty dang attentive when he sets up boards, but even
he is human. He may have accidentally put the wrong sizes in there.

Why don't you just call him and ask or email him?

Also, make sure the bearings are seated completely in the wheel...
and snug your nuts!

Default the sound

Whenever a wheel starts making that noise (the bearing spacer) i have to take off the wheel and press the bearings down into the seat. It usually makes a click like it set in there better. I press hard all around and make sure the bearing is seated properly. After i do this it seems like its impossible for the bearing to move a hair, but it does. Thus causing the noise to happen.
