Which kryptos are the best? classics? route series? I want a good longlasting longboard wheel.

I'm definately no expert but i love my classic 76mm 78a's. Great cruising street wheel, can deal wiv the well gnarly pavement we got over here in the UK.

Was doin a bit of tourist slalom in Leicester square tube earlier and i cut in front of some bloke who got a bit petrurbed at me doing this and so tried to stick his foot under one of my back wheels to try and get me to slam. Was my Kryps havin any of it? Where they hell!! Those bad boys just rolled over the sucka's foot

the 66mm White 78a Krypgrips are the best krypto's i have ever ridden and some of the best wheels period. They are not that big, as far as longboard wheels go, but they are stone cold killers.

    Nice one MyQul! bloody tourists.
uh back on the subject, I like 70mm classic k's, mine have lasted a really long time, dont get the white ones though cos they go pissy yellow after a few weeks then you have to ride ugly wheels for ages.

76mm Classic for me (at the present time). And they haven't turned yellow, yet. The Route's are nice, but they were designed for wooden surfaces (and rollerskates), and they seem to be slower on concrete. The Hawaii's are nice, too.

Are the 85 mm classics any more expensive than the smaller sizes? I'm looking to buy a set if they aren't way expensive.

I think I will be getting a set then. Do you think I could go with a bit harder duro than 78A if I'm using 85 MM wheels?

I'm using the 65mm Hawaii - the green ones (86a) - they seem to be lasting really well - I've been doing a fair amount of sliding and haven't noticed any flat spots or 'chunks' coming off them. They grip pretty well, too (feel a bit softer than 86). I think I'll try the 70mm version next, but I'm happy with these guys.
