    Default Wheels For Spud

Im planning on getting a Landyachtz Spud in the near future the setup im going to use it with would be Randal 180's and Pink Gumballs....but im thinking about buy Goddess of Speed wheels for it. So would the wheels be big enough? or would i need to use risers?

Use a riser. I run 80mm Kryptos. No risers. Hard bushings.
I had gumballs on it for a while, .5" riser. The riser size will depend on how much you want to turn.

do you really need risers for a spud? I'm planning on setting one up and I'm not sure whether to get risers or not.. I have an evo with no risers and its fine

The spud and the evo are two different boards the evo dosen't need riser pads with 70mm wheels, the spud is dropped 4 inches so i'd think you would need risers on any wheels under 80mm.

70mm wheels on an Evo would make it extremely low to the ground.

I know, and every now and then I do throw my zigzags on my evo... while it is extremly it is still a great ride, but I do prefer my lemon bigzigs for the serious stuff.

I ride 76mm Gumball's with a 1/2" riser, works amazingly. No rail bite whatsoever. And it sticks to the road like a freaking tank!
