Default An alternative to Classic K's?

    Greetings Silverfish,

I am looking for some suggestions for wheels. I have searched through the forums, and read up a lot on wheels, but to be honest, I haven't really ridden anything else but 70MM 80a Classic K's.

I love them. Honestly! I have grown used to their slide & grip, and have full confidence with them. The problem I have with them is longevity. They used to last me months, but now I can barely get a month out of them. Granted I am skating more, but I really don't want another $25/month habit. I think the older formula lasted a bit longer, as it all I have now are the new ones. And it doesn't seem like they make the 82a's anymore.

Anyways, So basically I am looking for wheels that have the slide/grip characteristics of Classic K's but last a lot longer.

    Do such wheels exist?

    Thanks for your help,
    Kind Herb

abec11 strikers, or pink powerballs will offer a little drift, though the classic solid blue kryptos arent quite matched by anything.

    Thanks for the replies!

And yeah I wish I could get the old blue Classics as well...

I will check out those ABECs and Powerballs for sure

Another question. The strikers only come in 66mm and 77mm. Are they worth dropping down to 66m from 70m? 77mm is too big for my board.

    Thanks!
