    Default No Skoolz or Flashbacks?

I'm going to get one of them in 88a, for sliding, but which one? Although if you think I need harder, then please say so. I'd like to get one of these two wheels though. They'll be going on my Gravity C43. I'll be doing some tech stuff, but mainly just pendys, colemans... And yes, I DID search and didn't find what I was looking for. Thanks.

So should I go with 92a Flashbacks/No Skoolz, or go all out with 94a or 96a No Skoolz?

No Skools have radiused rounded edges, they would be the
better choice of the two. Bus as stated above, there are
probobly better choices for sliding.. Strikers???

Strikers aren't in my budget...I only have $50-55 to spend for both wheels and bearings.

92a NoSkoolz are way too grippy and have a very chattery slide.
You should go all out to 96a for thechnical sliding and/or get a different wheel IMO.

I have some 81a flashies on a big homemade pin and they feel great on big colemans and pendys. I'd say it comes down to how hard you want your wheels and how much riser you wanna run. with flashies on a board like the gravity you're probably gonna need at least 1/2 in riser if you're running conventional trucks. the noschoolz you could get away w/ less (especially if you decide on the 60mm ones)

I think flashbacks are a far supieror wheel but i dont slide much if at all. So i would say go with the noskools. They are radioused (i cant spell for the life of me today) on the edges so from what iv'e heard they should be more predictable.

PLus if i saw a flatspotted flashback i think i would cry :-p

I would try to get around that budget problem, cause when buying wheels that are solely for sliding you don't want to go cheap cause it'll cost you more in the long run. I dropped $40 on some 65mm 97a Lush Cannonballs last summer and they're still nice and round with plenty of wheel left. My buddy went with something cheaper and with a softer duro and his wheels are nearly gone. This is after a lot of sessions too. The bottom line: go with more expensive sliding wheels or at least harder wheels.

I you want to do technical stuff get something hard, it sounds like you need to start a wheel quiver. Since you probably have something that is pretty soft on that board right now why on get something really hard. Of your two choices I would go with the noskoolz but why not get a wheel designed and formulated for sliding if that is what you want to try.
Going half ass iwith your wheel choice will give you half ass results.

i might as well chime in on this one...

if you're going to do actual slide sliding, go with a 60-65mm wheel with a hard duro; 95a and upwards. despite the information given above, i would not recommend buying an expensive slide wheel, especially if you're still early on in the learning process. if you're more experienced, then by all means, go right ahead and drop 50 bucks on a slide specific set of wheels......but i do just fine on my 10 dollar blanks, and they last more than long enough

if you're leaning more towards cruising with a safety slide here and there, then go for something bigger and softer. keep in mind that a big and soft wheel will be difficult to break free, whereas a small and hard one will be no problem at all.
