Default Zig Zags or Gumballs on pintail?

Hey im getting a loaded pintail cause i finished the challenges and i was wondering what wheels to get. I heard that the 83a zig zags are even grippier then the 78a gumballs. im using this board for commuting and dancing/tricks and i want to be able to slide. What wheels do you recommend.

I would recommend against 76mm wheels on a board this size. Zigzags are the way to go for serious grip and carving. If you want to be able to do slides check out Pink Powerballs and 66mm 81a Strikers.

considering the board doesn't get wheelbite, i would get some 76s. They are both great wheels so it is just up to you.

Grippins are basically Gumballs with a little more traction and have a huge range of duros available. The 70mm ZigZags are basically Grippins with an offset hub.
The Zigs do sound good with that deck but you might lean to center set hub for sliding.

Pink Gumballs if you can find them.

My flex 1, with r-II 150's [with blue stims and red khiros],Powell swiss bearings, pan head hardware, very thin risers and pink gumballs is MAGIC !

By far my fastest board. Is it any one thing? I don't know, but iI am reluctant to change anything too find out.

Take a look at the Lime Big Zigs. They are the same 80A rebound-formula urathane as the Zig Zags, in the Gumball shape. They are fast, grippy, but have that rolled edge that seems to slide well...give them a shot.
