Default Removing the covers on Abec 5 Greaseballs?

I can't seem to find a way to remove my covers to clean the bearings in my Greaseballs. Does anyone know how to pop the cover off on these bearings?

From what I remember, Greaseballs have crimped shields. That means you can't take them off.
    I'm a man...I can change...if I have to...I guess.

I managed to pry them off with small flat head screwdriver (the kind that you use for your glasses). They're pretty worthless after you take them off so just take off only one shield and leave it off.

I was assuming something along those lines. I dented one of my shields trying to pry it off, but it still rolled fine.
