    Exclamation new wheels

I have the sector 9 bombhill from about 1-2years ago i belive it has 72mm/85a wheels
any other say i realized that letting friends use the board is stupid etc etc and i have cracks in my wheels now i knwo they will last until evantally breaking, but while replacing my berings i noticed that i dented it taking it off, even though it is usable now i need to buy new bearings and wheels evnatally so i was was woundering wat would go nice with the bomb hill board i belive it is 48"
i will be doing alot down hill and learning to powerslide and drift etc

also some trying to convice me to get 'cermaic balls' for my bearings is this wat i am looking for and i also was told over 70mm are good and range of 80a are good

I would recommend Bones Reds for bearings, they are cheap and get the job done.

if youre into downhill and drifting then i smaller flywheels would be nice. ceramic bearings arent really necessary unless you are doing some serious racing

    slide gloves? make your own!

1 pair work gloves (nice and thick leather) $5 tops
1 roll industrial velcro $8 at lowes
    corian samples free

all the above can be found at a lowes or home depot... search the 'fish form "homemade slide gloves" or just "slide gloves" and there will be plenty info! its def the way to go... i prefer the corian (free) and velcro opposed to having to cut up cutting boards (which imo don't slide as well, unless you get lucky and get a nice one), and the gloves should last a while, just replace the corian pucks with more and attach with velcro

There are a lot of wheel/bearing combinations that are potentially good for you. And there are
about as many opinions about what is best as there are combinations.

Bones Reds are a good start. But there are a few things you want to make sure you have to
get the most out of them--and the longest life.

    1. Speed washers. You should have 8. these are small washers that go between your bearings
and the locknut and truck hangar.

    2. Spacers. Many a bearing has been blown because a new longboarder didn't realize these were
important. These go between the the bearings.

If you already knew, this, good. If not, now you do which is excellent! You should be able
to find find these at your local skateshop--or just tack them on to an order for bearings and
    wheels off the internet.

As for wheels. A bit trickier because wheels have a pretty big effect on the feel of your ride.
So they can be a pretty personal thing. For example, many people love Flashbacks. I am
    not one of them.

The wheels I am most presently in love with are Sector 9 Goddess of Speed and LandHawgs.
They have very different feels but both feel great to me--and have ruined me for my Lemon ZigZags...

Both of those wheels are significantly larger than what you are presently running though, so you
will probably run into wheelbite issues unless you add some risers.

Still searching for a perfect 70mm wheel myself.

Going over 70mm comes down to what wheels you find and how gnarly your riding surfaces are.
Bigger wheels can give a more luxurious ride and bump over larger cracks. But you would be amazed
at what 70mm will roll over--and what can stop a 77mm! (Cigarette butts are murder. As are pennies!)
