    Default Thoughts on carving wheels?

i just got some 3DM 62mm 78a Cambria Slalom Wheels for my carving set up. Any thoughts on these wheels or on any other wheels of similar size and duro?

If you like to carve and want similar size/duro wheels, check out the Abec 11 Retro Zig Zag series. They come in 66mm and 70mm sizes, with duros ranging from 75a to 89a. They are a very wide carving/slalom wheel that don't slide out easily. Apparently you can therefore ride harder wheels (more speed) without getting all sloppy in the turns. I'm getting some to put on a cruiser/dancer!

Cambrias are great but if you use them a lot they tend to cone/chunk kind of fast because of their size. zigs in any size are a good bet too.

If you wanted to go bigger I like the ABEC-11 Grippins and Gumballs for carving. Flashbacks are also good. Gravity Classics are good carvers.

I personally go back and forth between a set of ZigZag 70mm 78a and a set of Gumballs in 84a. The ZigZ are good and gripy for some hard carving on rougher surfaces. The Gummies drift a bit on rough surfaces but the harder duro makes them fast. A good smooth road and those Gummies and I'm flyin and keep that speed forever.

Krypto Classic K's are a classic. Gravity Street G's are good as well. The Rainskates Tsunamis look like they might be good. I've been impressed with all other Rainskate wheels I've tried.

3M makes good thane but I personally think 62mm is a bit small, but use it anyway if you already have them. I prefer at least 66mm and greater. Like everybody else mentioned, try Abec 11s or Retros.

The best wheels for sticky carving Ive tried are clear red or pink ZigZags in any size.
If you'd like to be able to drift a bit maybe with orange zigs.
