Strikers Spacers Size
Alright I recently bought some new 84a Strikers, and I wanna get some spacers. On MHS it says that it uses 10mm spacers, but when I go to buy them, the options are 10mm x 10mm, 10mm x 8mm etc...which size do I use?
I see you ride a longboard, I happen to longboard myself.

10x10 are for trucks that have 10mm axles, like the Bear Grizzlies. Most trucks have 8mm (actually 5/16") axles. What kind of trucks do you have? Chances are you probably have the 8mm axles.
P.S. you really like that board of yours don't you? That's great!

You want 8x10, unless you have 10mm axles.

Yah my axles are 8mm, thanks guys. And I think the bond between me and my C43 cannot be described by the word "like".

Re: Strikers Spacers Size
advantages to running spacers include more even wheel wear, less play in the wheel itself, easier to properly tighten your wheel nuts, more speed, and you're less likely to smash your bearing shields.

Re: Strikers Spacers Size
Gullwings, and all trucks that aren't "10mm axles" use a nominally ("close to") 8mm diameter axle. Since 90+% of the trucks out there are these "8mm axles", most spacers being discussed are designed to fit them.
Your Strikers take a .400" spacer. A 10mm-wide spacer would be undersized, would not work to any advantage other than a neato rattlling sound and are a waste of money. Some other wheels use a .300" spacer, but not anything produced by Abec 11, Retro, Pink, Comet, 3dm, Seismic, Bulldog, Never Summer, Tunnel and more. There's been a real move to the .400" skateboard standard (away from the .300 roller skate/blade sizing) in the last few years.
Some people confuse the issues by referring to .400" spacers as "10mm", including some people that do know better. With the advent of 10mm-axled trucks on the open market, it's even more confusing for people that don't get it.

Re: Strikers Spacers Size
Hey guys I got my spacers but I'm not sure if they fit. When I put them in my Strikers between the bearings, the spacers aren't snug in the wheel. When I put them on the axle they're fine, but when they are off of the axle, the spacers move around. I'm not sure if I explained that well, but I tried to take a pic but it didn't demonstrate what I was trying to say. So, do the spacers fit or do I need bigger ones?

So you're saying every abec11 wheel is .4?
Huh...I didn't know that, I thought they were all 10mm
Thanks for the correction!

No problem! .400, as is every wheel I listed above, and more.

you're fine. unless you can physically move the wheel itself .1" sideways along the axel with the wheel nut tightened, they're the right spacers. the spacers will fall out of alignment when off an axel because if they didn't have space around them they'd probably stop the wheel from rolling.

Stingers had .300" spacing, and haven't been produced for several years.
