dude, 197? Either youre the buffest 13 year old i ever heard of, or youre uberly grosso? lol. Just kidding, sliding is the fastest way to wear them down, i have used a set of GOS wheels on my flexdex for a few years, and after a lottt of riding (mainly commuting) i dont even notice a slight difference. Sliding is just not my thing i guess.

Here are mine:

On the left is a representative from an older set of Flywheels, on the right is a less worn-in rep from a newer set, both were 76mm-81a.

My noob ass flatspotted this superb wheel and then it just kept getting worse, but we're going to keep truckin' until some core shows. I sound like a helicopter, it's great!

thats the reason i don't slide hard wheels.
the screetch and the flatspotting.

When you get close to the core, even the softest of wheels will flatspot. thats why 101's suck so much. they aren't design for drifting.

There is nothing more fun than a wheel-killing session.
find the steepest road with the worst pavement (easy task in Montreal) and just whip out the longest fastest slides!

Krypto Classics don't slide that great. Granted, I never rode them on an actual longboard, but on my old freebord they chattered a bit. Once I replaced them with 77mm/84a Strikers, the drift was much smoother and more controllable.
