I've found myself without slidewheels before and having to buy the cheapest biggest wheel in the store. Sometimes it was a Black Label or a Deathbox or Bones, I got a set of Spitfire's S4 Tracers,
they didn't last very long until they start sounding like a chopper. If you have a choice to spend an extra 5-10 bucks I'd go for Rainskates, Sector9, Santa Cruz or Earthwing, but sometimes you just can't find 'em at your local skateshop.
Remember boys and girls, support your local skateshop.
Dude those slide A's got raped!!!
They look pretty cool now.
Yeah, the red stripe adds some character, huh? Hahaha.
Did some sliding today and got the smallest one down to 44mm, and it's still going strong. There's a tiny little gouge in the thane that show's there's about another millimeter of depth left. So my guess is that the cores are somewhere around... 42mm in diameter?
I can't believe how resilient those little buggers are!

Agreed, I've got a couple sets in the same range.
Keep em' spinnin

So he'll have three wheels around 60mm and one 72mm wheel? I don't see that working out.
It's actually not all that bad. 60mm vs. 72mm just means the new wheel's gonna be 6mm higher than the others. I've ridden a jacked up set of Sergio sliders ranging from 48mm to 60mm and it doesn't mess up performance beyond making the board feel a little uneven.
In my book, it beats buying four new wheels and letting three perfectly good ones sit around unused.

I've tried it, and I didn't like the feeling of it. I mean it's his call in the end though.
