84a gumballs have to be the most durable wheel out there. I've ridden the crap out of these for the past couple months (lot's of free-riding and drifting), and have ridden them at least a few times a week for the past 2 years. They aren't even in the 60's yet! I'm actually really happy, but I feel somewhat unaccomplished for some reason. I see people talking about going through a set of wheels a month, week, or even session, but I'm proud to say my gumballs keep on going!

70mm on the inside, 73mm on the outside.


I really love the durability of Abec 11's wheels. I have a set of Lime BigZigs that have been ridden for DH and driting at least once a week for a year and a half and they're evenly at 73mm.

what's the quickest anyone has gone through a set of strikers... I seem to be burning through about a mm a day... if i keep riding them like this i think i will be through with them within a week or two.

What duro? If you're going through them that fast you should consider one of their top duros. They should last a lot longer.

yea but high duro wheels suck for sliding.

I'm in a predicament. Does anybody know of a good soft duro wheel that lasts a really long time? I've gone through hawgs, powerballs, strikers, and recently im seeing core on my flywheels after two sessions. The longest lasting soft wheel i've found so far is the lime retro freerider but the consistency of the slide isn't too awesome compared to regular abec 11 thane.

also, what's the name of those refillable orange wheels with the metal core?

Blastwaves last longer than the other wheels you spoke of, but they don't slide as well. And the orange wheels you're talking about are DTC wheels.

You could always find a 84a-88a wheel. Still considered "soft" (although 88a is kinda pushin it) but will still last a lot longer. 84a or 86a would probly be good for you.

The s9 wheels were thrashed in laguna and san diego. The venoms had 1 run down tuna, and then the san diego session. And it was all me, no lathing. BITE ME!!!!

And i rotate my wheels often.
