Re: Show me... abused wheels!
Quick question?? Just noticed my 83a stims are after coning a bit, by a bit i mean a couple of mm's . I flipped them around so they will wear evenly but are these wheels even flipable?? They seem to slide better anyway so im stoked!
Im guessing these wheels are not really suitable for dh any more cause of the coning, what do ye think?
Quiver:

Instead of flipping the wheels, rotate them to different axles so they are wearing properly.

Unless you alternate between regular and switch, heelside and toeside slides very often, you will likely develop higher wear on certain wheels than others (regardless of what board you're riding). For example, if your most common slide is a coleman, your front heelside wheel will take the brunt of the wear. In general, your uphill wheels (during the slide) will tend to cone more than your downhill wheels. If you rotate your wheels regularly, you can reduce uneven wear.
Also, a little coning won't hurt you much in downhill. Ovalized, flatspotted, or cored wheels are what tend to make things less fun.

Ok man thanks for da advice. i see were ye are coming from now because i never ride switch and this is why it is happening. I will rotate the wheels every now and then ta keep it even.
Thanks again dude
But can you rotate these wheels?- Orangatang Stimulus
