Re: Show me... abused wheels!
Try like 6 or 8 months ago, not more than a year.
And they were closer to 60.
And I still have my set.
And they kick ass.
And dozer should sell the ones not in the shrinkwrap.

Re: Show me... abused wheels!
Honestly, I really don't like my fishballs that much.
-They ride rough because reflex thane is just harder in general and there is a fatty core
-They slide smooth and easily but once they start sliding they really want to hook back up. I can hold out standies on my In heats more easily than I can on my fishballs. I just hate the amount of resistance they have and I wished they would slide with less friction.
-They only grip when it is smooth, just forget about riding on rough roads, you can't tell the difference between when you're gripping or sliding
- They have very little rebound, since there are no lips on it and the urethane is already pretty dead (not squishy or bouncy like abec11 or O'tang thane)
I was hopping that I would be able to use them as freeriding drifty-as-hell wheels but they just aren't cutting it for me. I was thinking of trying the powerballs with abec11 urethane because from my expirence it is easier to draw out slides with them.

Re: Show me... abused wheels!
I find them fast, grippy, and a super quiet slide.

Re: Show me... abused wheels!
I think they're smooth as hell. I'd go as far as to say smoother than any other wheel I've ridden. More than 75a Flys, Lime BigZigs, 4prez's... They are very very smooth. They roll over debris and cracks very well.
They are surprisingly grippy. I was working on my standup check slides with them, and found when they do break free they are very quiet, and they kill a lot of speed.
I like them a lot for just riding, great all around wheel. For downhill I'd need something with a little more grip (4prez) and for working on my slides I prefer something that breaks faster. (81a flashies)

Re: Show me... abused wheels!
Ya, Fishballs are smooth when you are sliding them but they still don't ride that smooth. They would be great all around wheels if every single hill that I ride was paved perfectly but for me, my In Heats are just better. Sure they don't slide as smooth but they sure do slide out longer for stand up slides, have a smoother ride, more rebound, and more grip.

Right now I'm on 70mm Nineballs (I'm poor so I stole them off my sister's board), but they just don't feel good. Im trying to pick one of the following for my next wheel:
80mm Slashers
70/76/81mm RF
76/85mm Orange Hawgs
Please post your review. those were all wheels i was looking into for freeride.

I like my 76mm orange hawgs. They're slow, but the slide is pretty quiet and smooth.
