    Default All around grippy wheel

I currently ride 75a grippins. I'm looking for something a little bigger and I would have gone with Gumballs in a 78a, but I am strapped for cash like most of us here. I think gumballs would cone on me relatively quickly and then I'm up a street without a longboard. I was looking at Retro Bigzigs in the low durometers like 77a or 80a because they are centerset hubs, thus flippable and even wear. Any reviews on them, I didn't see it in the gear page. How do they compare to grippins or gumballs? Just as grippy and fast?

Also is Retro a subset of Abec 11?

    Peace and Hair Grease.

thelongboardstore says CS but others say OS. Can anyone clarify? Also if they are not CS what is a wide, grippy, big, CS wheel. looking for something the size of bigzigs or gumballs

If he's sayin gumballs are out of his price range, im pretty sure speedvents are goin to be. If you have the $ though they would be great (77mm have a huge contact patch).

Gumballs are within my price range, I have a job. The problem is I want a wheel that will last me a long while. Once a wheel cones substantially its useless. My centerset Grippins show no signs of coning and can be flipped if they do cone. What are some large, centerset, grippy wheels that resemble Bigzigs or Gumballs?

I haven't tried em, so I can't attest to how they ride. But the LY 76mm Hawgs are center-set and are shaped a lot like a gumball.

If you want a grippy wheel that does not want to slide get the 77mm speedvents in 75a, if you want a very grippy wheel you can slide a little get the pink bigzigs.

Try the S9 GOS. Way underrated wheel imo, grips or drifts when you want it to and center-set.

+1 for the Landyachtz Hawgz. Sick wheels, and centerset. 77mm, come in 78a and 80a. Great wheels.

I went with the 77mm Black HAWGS. I got good feedback from veteran members like Ebasil.
Any other comments on the wheels go for it!
