    Default bigzigs vs. blast waves

i'm looking to but some new feet on my vanguard. right now i have powerballs on there and love 'em. but the bigzigs and blast waves seem like they'd be a good change. before i fork over the dough...how do you guys think those two hold up against eachother?

I've ridden both and they are way different wheels. Get the Zigs if you want to stick like glue. Get the Waves if you want to drift turns.

I have both and the BigZigs are my favorite. I do a lot of pumping so I need reliable grip all the time. The waves do ok but as soon as you're going faster they 'wash out'. Don't get me wrong, they grip like hell... Not as much grip as the Zigs but like people mentioned the Waves are more drifty

At first I had my Big Zigs on my van guard, but I wanted something a little more slidey so I put my blastwaves on. There great for stand up slides and cruising, but mine chunked after 2 months. Like everyone else said, blast waves if you want more drift and big zigs if you want more grip.

the blast waves have a good strait line high end speed due to the more narrow profile. as people have already said, bigZigs are some of grippiest wheels out there, since they are some of the widest wheel around to, except for mayble a seismic Avila. if you want max grip get bigzigs. if you want a wheel that can drift VERY predictably go for the blast waves.

i think the blast waves in 79a are one of the best freeriding wheels. you can speedboard on them but if you need to throw a pendulum they slide really nice and drift reall well.....not to say you can't slide BigZigs, any wheel can be slid on. its easier on a wheel with a more narrow profile and if you're learning high-speed slides, something like a blast wave would make it a little easier. the only soft wheel that easier to slide are kryptos.
to go for a skate is to go for a drift, to explore the streets looking for hidden places, opportunities for creative misappropriation; it is to recombine the artifacts of production and reinterpret the city for oneself-ocean howell

so are even the 75a blast waves a real drifty wheel? I know that they'll grip more than the 79a obviously, but is chunknig that much more of an issue? I'm making the same comparison here for a hellcat/vanguard/cigar quiver.
