how long do your 70mm zigzags last?

im looking to buy some 70mm pink 77a zigzags, I want to know how long they will last with some cruising, carving and pumping?

I know its a hard question to answer, but an estimate is good

right now i have sector 9 slalom wheels about the same type of wheel but they are coning and only have been riding them for a couple of months

i know a centerset wheel would last longer, would grippins be a good alternative?

They last for a while, go for 83a I've had mine almost a year now. Just some minor chunking, nothing that effects the ride.

I have a set of 70mm limes that I've trashed on for about a year. They've seen tons of sliding, big drifts and a handful of races. Zero chunking, they just cone out and get smaller. Mine are probably only like 68-69mm.

Ive had mine for like 3 months, i ride lime in front lemon in back. Just one chunk and thats it. Not too bad...

yeah, my 70mm limes have been ridden for a year. i have them on my commuter board, and the only physical change they've endured is the logo flaking off.

It depends on the surface you ride. The type of riding...slide... slalom etc. And if your name is George Pappas, Zak Maytum and Martin Reeves. (I think these guys skate slalom 60 hours a week or something crazy like that.)

Or if your name is Mig and you suck but weight more than George, Zak, and Martin together. Then 6 hours a week, for a couple of weeks, will do this to your Zags:

By the way, the more they cone the better they grip. At the Worlds, Ramon and Dominik gave me their almost new Zags in exchange of my old coned ones. They even offered to pay me to cone theirs faster!

Mig, that is truly incredible. That kind of conage takes me at least 2 weeks! Man, in that first picture you can easily see where the bearings are in the wheel. That's awesome.
