    Exclamation lubing bearings!!!

I let my brother use my board and when he came back my board was covered in dirt and now my bearings need lubing.

i was wondering if 3 in one would be a good lube for my bearings???

    3 in 1 is a sufficient lube.

Very carefully worded! Want a job in Congress?

Like he said, 3in1 isn't perfect, but it'll do. It's a bit light and will leave your bearings essentially un-lubed pretty soon. But it's good for getting the crud off them.

For long-term, use something else or keep re-lubing frequently with 3in1. Motor oil works pretty darn well and you've probably got some around.

found some pretty sweet stuff at a bike store. its called tri lube i think. its in a little black bottle. it even comes with a little straw. its got teflon in it. ive been using i for a while. got some crappy s9 bearings to spin better than anything ive ever seen.

axle grease works good for long lasting protection but they wont roll as easy and it really is a pain to pack them cus they are so small.

i love me some clean and fast bearngs. just clean them about once every 2 weeks(if you ride daily)
    wide open spaces.

Clean them good, use white lithium grease.

Clean those suckers out then lube them. Don't just take them out then lube, sounds like they got pretty dirty in the process of your bro riding it.

Good call. I've been using molybdenum grease (basically the same) in the rainy season to help keep the water out. Also tried Phil Wood bike-bearing grease, and seems fine.

Tri-flow, Bones Speed Cream, and other light oils are good too, may run a bit faster than grease, but people say they require a tad more frequent maintenance.

For a door hinge, but not bearings.

If there's no skate shop nearby, go to a bike shop or hardware store and get a "wet-style" lube.

any speed cream is good ,but if your stuck for cash or just not able to get to a skate /bike shop, try sawing machine oil,its thin and works well but only for a short time , but you really should get good quality creams and lubes, imo
