    Question Wheels on a humu

Hey, y'all. I was wondering what is the biggest wheel I can slap on a humu (that has wheel wells)? Thanks!

Probably any size you want with the right riser. I would go for something around 60mm though based on the humu page http://www.longboardlarry.net/boards/short%20humu.php

Why don't you email LBL and ask him?

I'm pretty sure i've seen setups of other guys on here as big as 72mm with the stock risers. Truck tightness is a factor.

I have seen big wheels on it, but I wouldn't go past 65mm, you want to be low to the ground with quick acceleration on this board. Get alligators, tunnels, berts, larry has them as the setups for sale for a reason.

I have only tried tunnels and GFHurley wheels on it, both worked awesome. I think I like the GFHurley wheels more somehow.

I'm switching off between 66mm lime zigs and 62mm gators. Right now i'm using the zags with a 1/8 in riser, although the board has wheel wells.

I really love those 62mm 78s Alligators. They line up perfectly with the deck and they are really fast and a smooth ride.

Thumbs up Re: Wheels on a humu

The 62mm 'gators and 63mm Tunnels might just as well have been designed for the Humus, they work so well.
