Default suggestions for my vanguard wheels/bearings?

I recently completed the Challenge Series 2 from Loaded and purchased my VanGuard. it came with Kryptonics wheels and Max Edozz bearings.(can't really read what bearings they are, but something like that).

After reading around this forum and the Loaded forums I've been thinking about getting some better wheels, and now bearings. I mostly like to cruise around town everyday, using my Vanguard as a source of transportation too. a few friends and I went hill bombing like usual, so I will be wanting some good bombing wheels too. I also like to carve a lot, but I haven't been doing much of any slides yet.

I'm thinking about going with the Gumballs since I hear they are amazingly smooth and fast and grippy. I'm also thinking about buying some Red Bones bearings from the local skateshop since they're pretty cheap, and because they never failed me when I used to have the popular skateboards kids have before I started longboarding.

I appreciate all the help I can get. any suggestions are greatly welcomed as well.

Unless you plan on getting rid of the wheels and bearings before they are ridden (ie. sell them while they are still brand new), I'd ride the setup and see what you like/don't like.

The bearings should be fine, so ride them until they die or until you need to clean them. As for the wheels, see how you like them. If you find them too squishy or other things that you don't like, then consider gumballs (good wheels on my vanny). But yeah...just try the setup for a while and see where you stand before you spend more money.

I forgot to mention, I've been riding this board for 3-4 days now. the kryptos aren't bad at all, but I feel like I'm being cautious a lot since I've been used to riding my friend's longboard that has tunnel wheels on them, and these wheels are different. the board doesn't seem sluggish, but I have a feeling that I could be going faster and smoother with some different wheels and bearings.

I think I will ride out the rest of the week to fully realize what I think of my current setup and what I expect, like you suggested. I agree.

    any more suggestions?

Well, what i ride on my vanguard is gumballs w/ builtin bearings. Gumballs grip and slide well, and sence the builtins have built in spacers they hold up great in a board that is used to slide. But if you don't plan on sliding bones red would be a good choice.

Those wheels on your board rock!

Don`t just buy a new set of wheels because you heard some other wheel is better.
Wait till you find what you don`t like about the wheels you have and then find the wheels that you need to fill whatever deficit the current wheels may have for you.

In my part of the world Kryto`s are considered fantastic wheels. I have many sets of wheels from most of the popular labels..... No one wheel is "better", Just different wheels for different uses....

Yeah I'd ride the Kryptos for a while, get them broken in. See how they drift and slide. If you hate how they grip or slide then get new wheels, but I'd probably just ride them until they die.

bones reds are great bearings (have them on my shortboard), but i would go ahead and invest in some good bearings (aka abec 7 or 9) because it will be SO worth the investment
maybe try thelongboardstore.com or milehighskates.com for good prices
my 2 cents, strikers will biltins, just throwin that out there...
