Hey folks
This MAY be a total noob question but i would like a little bit of a hand and i have been on the fish/lurking for a while now so i think its fair i was granted a dumb question.thanks.
Im looking for some downhill wheels for my soon-to-be-ordered evo complete.
I have been running d/h on a Rayne Hellcat with bear 10mm and 79aWhite Speedvents(85mm)
I feel that the 'vents are a touch too slippery for my liking, but i dont have any complaints about the way they slide. so i dont really like WHEN they slide, but i do like HOW they slide, just wanted that clear.
I want a DH wheel that will hold speed, make tight drop knee turns, grip if my line changes suddenly and also one that will not have a difficult or uber chattery slide when i do a safety or pendy and wont chunk under above stresses.
I am trying to keep my costs below $300 for the complete so my choices are:
85mm HAWGS
76mm Gumballs
77mm HAWGS
75mm BigZigs(probably orange/lemon?lime would look rad though lol)
let me know what you think 'fishers.
Thanks again.
perhaps.do you know of any reputable online places to get the complete? i would get it from the landyachtz website, but they said that they are out of bear trucks so thats a big 'ol pain in my bum.im looking at stoked becuase it is alot cheaper an money is money.... lol
350 bucks?!?!? on my birthday my parents give me a twinkie and a 40........

my lime bigs zigs are really chattery when i slide and my lemons are a lot less chattery but the oranges probably slide very well i am assuming
but the grippiest wheel i have are the limes
how much do you weigh? i agree with zigs. i love em. they're not the best IMO (the new superballs are awesome) but the lemon zigs grip more for me. i weigh 165. if you weigh less (probably at all) then id go with the limes. and i have some bears if you want to buy them separate from me. they're in good condition. 52* though. daddies has free shipping, which might make it cheaper then other places. no longboard shops in your area? support local places when you can.
EDIT: missed that you'd already decided. tell me how those oranges are! ive wanted to try them since i saw em
