I'm planning on breaking in my Landy 80a Monster Hawgs. I think they could be sweet, but if not, I'll either be on
the Orangatang In Heat or Lime Bigzigs. Get yourself some Bones Swiss, too.

In heats would be cool, Bigzigs in any colour really, Flywheels would be killer if you could stick your line, cause man are they fast.

Any bets on Orangs making podium?

orangetangs will be the winning wheel, i'll put money on it.

i'm now planning on riding 82a monsters, or 73a avilas depending on which feels faster after practice runs.

79a speed-vents worked well for me last year. I only slid out twice, and that was in cowzer, because I took a stupid line

I wouldn't recommend anything over 80mm, they get really slidey, unless you like that style-which would be a bad idea on Maryhill

yup! It worked well ...enough. there was a reason why most everyone was on top-mounts.

A wod of advice for all you fellas,
If this is your first time racing mary, I recommend practicing tucking for 3 to 4 minutes at a time, or else you will NOT be able to tuck the whole hill.

EDIT: another thing, if you ride a landy DH RACE, dont't use it at this race!!!! hahah. You'd be much better off riding your Vanguard or Dervish!

My buddy Dustin rode his DH, paired with 85mm 75a speedvents, and he kept sliding out everywhere.

I think there's going to be a trend towards a smaller wheel. Like 70 or even 66 instead of the bigzig landslide that happened last year

Were Running 76 and 83 reflex flys... Weve gotem coned inn and sticky so hopefully it will be a good bet. We are also running prewedged cusom GMR and Deimos decks... slightly shorter wheelbase and tuned for medium speed hard transitions. I do think the Tangs will be in there though... fast wheels.

I think it would be stupid to even run abec 11 wheels. You can get a #### ton more money for getting podium without abec 11 wheels.

I am also calling an orange wheel on the podium.
