Default Funky Lime BigZigs... Fading logo?

Yeah, so I got a new set of Lime BigZigs about a week ago, and I haven't ridden them in the rain or anything crazy yet. Bout an hour worth of riding them, nothing even that intense.

And when I got home today, I noticed they were kinda fading (the logo on them was already skewered... Like I couldn't make out that it said Retro BigZig on some of them) and they had some dust/dirt on them, so I took a dry rag and wiped them off. This is the result:

Defective? Sketchy? I don't think they're fakes... As if someone would make knockoff BigZigs... What do you guys think? I'm a tad puzzled.

They also are a tad wobbly when I spin them, I hear that's been common with the Zigs lately... Otherwise, They ride just fine. Which is why performance wise I'm not terribly concerned.

    Or should I be?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH DUDE.

That's just how they are man. Everyone's graphic fades FAST with 'zigs, it's just the way they are. But definitely send them back, I'm sure they're defective. It's probably s9's fault anyway.

They don't fade, they chip. The wheels flex, and the graphics chip off.

Send them where? I bought them at a local skate shop. Really cool owner though, so I'll go in tomorrow and see what she thinks bout it.

And don't even give me that s9 bullshit. This isn't about s9 in the least, this is me asking a genuine question about something.

And I know he was, my whole life I've dealt with people giving me a fair share of crap. As of the last 8 or so months, I've decided to "return to sender". lol.

The graphic peeling/chipping doesn't have any effect on the wheels' performance/durability. Hell, I've had the graphics do that while installing the wheels.

soft wheels are prone to this, it's simply because the wheel flexes more than the graphic can.
    Graphics shmaphics, just ride em.

The eccentric wheel is another matter entirely, first have a look at the bearing seats, sometimes there's gunk in there that stops it from sitting square.
if it's enough that you can feel it riding I'd look into sending them back. Pretty sure a phone call is all it will take, since Chris guarantees his wheels.

Thumbs up Re: Funky Lime BigZigs... Fading logo?

They flake off the first day. Use tape to pull the rest off, it gives the wheels a killer old skool look.

I was kinda wondering, if you sprayed a clear coat of some sort on the sides, would the graphic stay on for a really long time?

It's not a major wobble, and it's not noticeable in the performance.

But My Flashbacks and Gumballs definitely don't do that in the least bit. Which is why it bothers me.

Aren't Abec 11 and Retro the same people??

Retro is a subset of Abec11.
Dont worrt about it man, all retro wheels graphics peel off.
And as for the wobbling thing,
Retro wheels are also prone to do that,
My two month old ZigZagz wobble a little too, but it hasnt cost me preformance ride, still as smooth as anything else out there.

Awesome, thanks for all the feedback guys. I'm used to Gumballs and Flashbacks, so I hadn't experienced either of these things before.

Flashbacks are alright, I like them better than Grippins, I think.

Gumballs however, I love. When I first switched from Flashbacks to Gumballs, I was shocked at how much grippier they were. Where I would of slid out on Flashbacks, I totally kept carving on the Gumballs.
