Rain Grooves, Narrow or Wide wheels?

I am looking to rain groove a set of wheels. I have some Strikers, Flywheels, or Bigzigz. Which do you think would ride better in the wet? I was thinking Strikers because they are narrower. The Aqua hawgs are fairly narrow with rounded lips. I was thinking that wide wheels would be more likely to hydro plane. Has anyone tried rain grooving Bigzigz?

I don't really have any scientific evidence of this, but hyrdoplaning isn't the issue. A wet road, without standing water causes a loss of traction as well.
rain wheels work because they provide more edges to grip in the turn. Personally I think you want a wider tire with more groves in it, than a narrower tire with fewer grooves.

bigzigs. hte grooves stop the hydroplaning the width gives you a little more grip.

its still hydroplaning, its just the moisture on the road, not standing water. a car requires a huge amount more water, look at their wheels.

i have been wondering the same thing. i will probably buy eastside rain wheels because they are wider than hawgs

narrow is better. My kryptos grip significantly better than my bigzigz in the wet.
