Im trying to decide between strikers, powerballs, or flywheels. Ill probably be happy with whichever i get, im just trying to make sure i make the best decision. My board is a dervish, i cruise, carve, pump a little, dance, and do tricks, and although it completely flat in my area, i slide often for fun. So i want a wheel thats good for sliding, but also for what i said above.
The only difference as far as i know from strikers and flys is that flys are bigger. I think smaller would be better for my flat land and sliding.. .or maybe bigger for when i do tricks. Ive heard powerballs are good too. I know theres no such thing as a perfect sliding and cruising wheel, but if you could help me pick between the 3 itd be great.

tonyz do u know that from expirience? Ive had many people say otangs not good at all for sliding.
Yeah I ride the in heats, they're really good for sliding, the only people who say they aren't just can't slide. You should get the 4presidents because the smaller size accelerates faster and slide smoother.

Out of the box, the edges are too square so the slide is choppy and rough, but once the lips get rounded a bit they slide like butter while still gripping when you want. I'd go as far as saying it's easier to do a coleman pendy on my Tangs than my Strikers.

Yeah they only slide choppy for like the first 8 slides and maybe a day of riding before sliding them so they don't wear wierd. I rode mine for about a week before sliding and now instead of coning it's just wearing normally on the center and you don't see any coning. Do not get gumballs, mine coned after 1 week of sliding a little bit every day, and although they are 76mm every little rock stops them unlike bigzigs or otangs which can go through just about any medium, small sized rock without any trouble and without worry of falling. If I were you, I'd get purple in the front to accelerate faster and orange in the back just to keep some grip, I ride all 80a oranges and they're kinda slippery while pumping.

Yeah im just looking for the impossible right now.... Awsome sliding and cruising wheel. I really like how the powerballs slide super smooth. But im afriad the otangs will have alot better grip ( i guess this just helps carving & pumping ) even though they'll break in after awhile... will the otangs not last as long being not a *slide* wheel?
