No, not at all, WD-40 has no lubricants.

other way around... you can use wd-40 to clean your bearings, but wd40 IS NOT a lubricant.. it' coagulates into a gooey mess and clogs your bearings.... just use bearing lube...

just use whats made for it. have a nice day with your "now correctly" lubed bearings.

gun oils work. just don't use wd-40, doesn't it have water in it and will make your bearings rust?

my all time favorite is break free CLP. it cleans and lubricates all in one. just squirt it in your bearings. but it has a low viscosity and leaks out of your bearings quickly.

A thin oil works best. If you have a crafts or fabric store check there for sewing machine oil. It's essentially the same stuff that you'd find in a tube of bearing oil.

dude, dont even use wd40 to clean. ur supposed to use acetone or sum other kind of water-based solvant. as for lube, get on milehighskates.com and order up some Bones Speed Cream. works great.

sure you CAN but it wouldn't do you any good, as said it's only good for cleaning

White Lithium isn't bad but it does induce wear on the bearings since it's metal dust suspended in grease...I have used White Lithium for years on bicycle axles...

acetone is not water based BTW WD-40 is about the same as using kerosene only with less oil

Mobile-1 Synthetic works well in a pinch. With the seals out and the bearings clean, submerge them in the Mobile-1, pull them out and spin them to remove the excess, then let them drain on a thick shop towel. Wipe them down then reinstall the seals and you are good to go.

It's usable, but they won't free spin well. Not that it matters.

I like Bones speed cream, tri--flow or sewing machine oil. I just got some of the RocknRons lube as well that I'm going to use next time I clean.
