For Flywheels, you need spacers designed for an 8mm or so axle and .400" wide. 10mm is too narrow and will rattle around, uselessly. .405" wide will work great... check out the guys on this site that are selling custom spacers.

Couldnt you add a speed ring in with the spacer so it doesnt rattle, or would that be too thick?

Strange... I have some of the spacers that come with bones swiss bearings in my flywheels and they couldn't possibly fit better! I think they're 10mm but im not sure anymore... Maybe I just lucked out.

Yes, you could use a speed ring to shim spacers that are too small. That works great. Bones spacers are .400.

You want 0.400 wide x 10mm diameter. You do not want "10mm x 10mm," because the 10mm width would be narrower than the (proper) 0.400" width.

All modern Tunnel wheels take 0.400" spacers. Diameter depends on your trucks' axles.

Yeah, I'm riding 83mm 78a flywheels and loving them. The only problem I have with them is that they have a harsh lock-up through long drifts and I have high-sided several times...

I'm sure the 81a ones won't have this problem nearly as much though.

Noob question time!

Are Biltins wide enough or will I have to shim?

They should be OK (especially when you consider that they come from the same parent company).
