Hey, planning on getting a set of these for my evo. This will be my purely downhill board which I hope to soon setup with a pair of smokeys. I like that these have a wide contact path, and they're the optimal size for my preference. Would they be prime for downhill, and how crazy should I go with getting super soft duro?
I would have to agree with everyone else. Big zigs are great wheels. So are Earthwing Superballs. Gumballs are great for a smooth cushy ride but like others have said, they don't drift nicely.
I have gumballs on my evo. It is set up for riding around campus and yes the gumballs are very cushy and comfortable. So smooth
As far as downhill goes, to be completely honest I switch my wheels out for DH. Gumballs are not your best choice, as it seems like this will be a downhill only board.
+1 for zigs

oh my bad, didn't realize they were made by retro.
those wheels look like exactly what I want (know I shouldn't base it on colour, but I do like to go with a green theme on my evo). Thanks a lot, I think I'm gonna buy those fo sho!
