    Default EW Superballs 56mm/82A

I'm on a quest for some softer wheels for riding crappy parks and bowls and more street riding on my Drifter. I've been interested in the Rainskates wu-tang Killer Bees, but these look nice too:

Doesn't 82A seem a little too soft though? Does anyone have any experience with these? Thanks.

EDIT: The picture doesn't seem to work so here it is.

I wouldn't recommend them for anything but city commuting if you want them to last long They get shredded apart and chunk like mad when you slide them and they tend to leave white lines on the road when you carve.

Don't have those, but I do have 56mm 80a Bones softcores, which are very similar. I bought them to put on a street deck for cruising. They would def work in a concrete park, but would be harder to keep up speed in a bowl. basically they aren't ideal for parks.

Speaking of Rainskates, if it's a concrete park (w/crappy pavement) you might want to check out the green Mini Tsunamis. They are 59mm and 95a. Better for park riding IMHO.

I actually have some. I'm gonna put em on right now, actually. Hopefully, I'll be able to ollie easier with them than my 64mm EW slide a's.

Thanks for all the quick responses guys. I guess on that note, does anyone have any experiences with riding Slide A's in the pool? They just seem so terribly slow so that's why I'm looking for some middle ground wheels between them and soft wheels. I'm thinking Killer Bees might be what I'm looking for. I also have some Bones SPFs lying around, but those seem just as hard as Slide A's really.

I do. I use the 58mm ones for park now. I used to use the 62mm as well. They are fast in a concrete bowl.

The Slide-As are ok, but the grip is horrible. If you're coming from riding rainskates (fairly grippy) Slide-As will put you on your ass. Bones SPF's are what I've found to be the fastest, and still retain traction. I ride the 56mm skinnys, they really lock you into the coping.

Those are for street skaters who want to use their popsicles for transportation on the rough streets of NY. If you want park wheels, try Rainskates.

If you want something that will be usable on rough pavement also, I`d check out the Rainskates Mini Tsunamis, 59mm 85a`s.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I'll look into some Rainskates some more. Do you think 85A's are to soft?

pigmoder skated his 38" drifter in the park on those orange Tsunami's last week other than having to work a little harder he seemed to like them, word of warning though they are deathly quiet and he scared the shit out of me when he approached on my blindside and I didn't hear him
